Guidelines for Authors

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

 

  1. Manuscripts submitted to EVOXIA – International Journal of Scientific Innovation must be original and unpublished, not simultaneously submitted to other journals, and should address multidisciplinary themes;
  2. Scientific works considered for publication fall into the following categories: Articles, Thematic Dossiers, and Reports of Innovative Experiences.
  3. Due to the publication of sensitive data in scientific research involving human subjects, such as interviews, experiments, etc., these studies must indicate the importance of ethical procedures established for the research, following the recommendations of the responsible Human Research Ethics Committee;
  4. The manuscript must be between 15 and 30 pages, including abstracts and references;
  5. The abstract must contain between 100 and 250 words (necessarily including objective, theoretical foundation and/or methodological procedures and results);
  6. A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords must be included, separated by semicolons (;) and ending with a period (.);
  7. All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review and must follow the EVOXIA template, which includes instructions according to the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) and document formatting. No document should contain any information that could identify the authors. Submissions not following this template will be rejected;
  8. Manuscripts must include introduction, methodology, results analysis, final considerations, and references;
  9. In a separate document, the full name of the author(s) should be provided. Academic affiliation, ORCID, Lattes CV link, and postal address should appear below the title according to the EVOXIA author data template;
  10. A maximum of 3 authors per article is allowed.
  11. At the time of submission, the author must attach two documents under the “Submission” tab: one containing the manuscript itself and another with the author data;
  12. Submission must be done through the “Submission” tab, completing the registration and paying the requested fees (R$150.00 for submission and R$150.00 for editorial process) and attaching proof of payment for both.
  13. The Evoxia template and the author data template must be in Word format (docx);
  14. References (according to ABNT-NBR-6023/2018) must include only works cited in the text;
  15. Footnotes should be used for explanatory information only and must not exceed 200 words each;
  16. The review process is "double-blind," meaning that reviewers do not know the identity of the authors, and authors do not know the identity of the reviewers;
  17. Authors must follow the Basic Guidelines for Integrity in Scientific Activity established by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development.
