Standardization for Authors
- EVOXIA – International Journal of Scientific Innovation accepts for publication articles, thematic dossiers, and reports of innovative experiences from Brazilian and foreign authors that address, in a multidisciplinary way, education, psychology, and administration, resulting from original research, theoretical essays, and current discussions. Exceptionally, previously published articles may be accepted, provided they are relevant and have limited circulation in Brazil.
- Submissions may be written in Portuguese or English.
- Articles, thematic dossiers, and innovative experiences must contain a minimum of 50,000 and a maximum of 75,000 characters with spaces (15 to 30 pages), including references, notes, title, abstract, and keywords in both languages (Portuguese and English, depending on the original language of the article).
- Publication of articles depends on evaluation by members of the Editorial Board or, when necessary, by ad hoc reviewers. Selection criteria include multidisciplinary relevance, originality, and theoretical-methodological rigor. Any content or structural changes suggested by reviewers or the Editorial Committee will only be incorporated with the authors’ consent.
- The Editorial Office will annually publish specific Calls and Guidelines for Thematic Dossiers.
- EVOXIA – International Journal of Scientific Innovation also publishes innovative experiences that develop practices, methodologies, and diverse actions promoting knowledge advancement and improvement of institutional, academic, and social processes, offering innovative solutions to the challenges faced.
- Manuscripts must be submitted to the Editorial Board via the submission system, where users can LOGIN (if already registered) or REGISTER (if not yet registered). All procedures are managed through this platform. Instructions are available on the journal’s website. Questions or suggestions should be sent through the AUTHOR – CONTACT US tab.
- Manuscripts must be prepared in standard .docx format for PC. Formatting guidelines are specified at the end of these rules.
- Citations (ABNT NBR 10520-2023) within the text must follow the format (Author, year) or (Author, year, p.), e.g., (Silva, 2019) or (Silva, 2019, p. 95). Different works by the same author published in the same year must be distinguished by adding a letter after the year: (Garcia, 2015a), (Garcia, 2015b), etc.
- References (ABNT NBR 6023-2025) must include only authors and texts cited in the work, presented alphabetically according to ABNT standards. Submissions lacking proper references will not be considered. Examples are provided at the end of these rules.
- Footnotes must be explanatory only. They should be numbered and appear at the bottom of the page (use your word processor’s automatic footnote function).
- All articles must begin with a title, three to five keywords, and an abstract (in Portuguese and English), each not exceeding 4,000 characters including spaces, following the EVOXIA template.
- In a separate file (template_AuthorData_EVOXIA), authors must include their highest academic degree, institution, city, state, e-mail address, Lattes CV link, and ORCID ID.
- Tables, charts, maps, images, photos, flowcharts, etc. (in PNG format) may be presented in color, grayscale, or black and white, numbered, titled, and include their corresponding sources. They must be in high resolution (300 dpi or higher) and ready for direct reproduction.
- The text must follow the style and bibliographic standards described in the Guidelines for Authors.
- One criterion for submission is ensuring anonymity by avoiding any form of author identification. Self-citation or full references to one’s own work should be replaced by the designation "Author" followed by the year (e.g., Author, 1983). Original references will be reinstated upon acceptance.
- Submission of any work automatically implies full transfer of copyright to EVOXIA – International Journal of Scientific Innovation.
